Transactions at Al-Ahli Hospital neonatal office halted
The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has announced a temporary suspension of transactions at the neonatal registration office in Al-Ahli Hospital.
The suspension is from July 7 to 28, the MoPH said in a notification on its website. Visitors can check with the neonatal registration offices in government and other licensed hospitals (Women’s Wellness and Research Center, Sidra Medicine, Al Wakra Hospital and Al Khor Hospital) from 7.30am to 12noon, the notification states.
Regarding those who have previously submitted their applications at the neonatal registration office in Al-Ahli Hospital, they will be notified via SMS of the dates of receiving birth certificates by reviewing at the neonatal registration office in Women’s Wellness and Research Center within the specified time, it adds.


Qatar condemns blast in Kandahar
Qatar yesterday expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the explosion that occurred in the south Afghanistan’s Kandahar, and resulted in the death of security forces personnel and the injury of others, including a number of civilians. In a statement the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and causes.
