Doha Municipality's technical control section, in co-operation with the mechanical equipment department, has carried out a campaign to remove encroachments from State property.
These included a farm measuring some 36,000sqm, the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) said. The move came in implementation of Law No 10 of 1987 with regard to public and private State property, it added.
In a related development, Al Sheehaniya Municipality's technical control department has removed encroachments from State property in the Al Nasraniya area within the municipality, the MME said.
