The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a partial closure of Umm Al Houl Interchange linking Mesaieed Road and Hamad Port Road towards Al Wakra and Doha from Friday 11pm to Saturday 4am.
The closure in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic is to enable gantry installation. Road users heading from Mesaieed towards Al Wakra and Doha can take the right turn loop towards Hamad Port Road and Industrial Area and reach Al Wakra through Al Wukair Road and Doha through G Ring Road.
Road users heading from north gate of Hamad Port towards Al Wakra and Doha will continue straight towards Hamad Port Road and Industrial Area and get to Al Wakra through Al Wukair Road and Doha through G Ring Road.
Road users heading from the Industrial Area towards Al Wakra and Doha via Hamad Port Road can continue straight, take the U-turn at Hamad Port back towards the Industrial Area and get to Al Wakra through Al Wukair Road and Doha through G Ring Road.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the closure and requested all to follow them and abide by the existing speed limit to ensure safety.
Road users heading from north gate of Hamad Port towards Al Wakra and Doha will continue straight towards Hamad Port Road and Industrial Area and get to Al Wakra through Al Wukair Road and Doha through G Ring Road.
Road users heading from the Industrial Area towards Al Wakra and Doha via Hamad Port Road can continue straight, take the U-turn at Hamad Port back towards the Industrial Area and get to Al Wakra through Al Wukair Road and Doha through G Ring Road.
