The Indian embassy Saturday said it has facilitated 126 repatriation flights from Qatar to various destinations in India till date, helping repatriate 21,200 Indians.
These include 48 flights under the Indian government's Vande Bharat Mission, 39 company-hired charters and 39 community-hired charters, the embassy tweeted.
Meanwhile, one more flight took off from Doha’s Hamad International Airport (HIA) Saturday as part of the Vande Bharat Mission.
Flight IX 1576 left for Thiruvananthapuram with 176 passengers and an infant. This was the 48th flight from Doha under the Vande Bharat initiative, "bringing the total number of repatriated passengers to 8,351 plus 224 infants", the embassy said.
