Auto Class Cars, the authorised general distributor of BAIC in Qatar, has announced the arrival of the all-new BAIC X35 Crossover 2020 model in its showroom on Salwa Road in Doha.

One of China’s top three auto groups, BAIC boasts of 60-years of engineering expertise. The company, which was established in 1958, has eight major production bases and a cumulative output of 12mn cars.

The 1.5 litre engine powered all-new crossover BAIC X35 offers excellent fuel economy of 6.6 litres per 100km (as per GSO standards) with maximum output of 85kw and a maximum torque of 148 N/M. The vehicle has Macpherson independent suspension in front and H type torsion bar at the rear.
The all-new X35 has Illuminating remarkable styling cues. The exterior features include height adjustable headlight, front and rear fog lights, Daytime Running Lights (DRL) and sunroof. The long wheelbase of 2,560 mm, 16” alloy wheel, rear defroster, and door mirror - adjustable with turning signal (LED) add a more sporty look.
The front design has a strong SUV stance with double grill, lenticular headlamps, three-hole lower guard plate, square fog lamps and C-shaped LED DRLs. BAIC X35 has tough body contour, chrome plated rear under guard, dual front air inlet grill, front and rear Fog Lamp which add to the SUV styling appeal of this crossover.
The luxury class interior has a two-tone layered design, 60:40 split rear seats, piano-style multimedia controls, stylish air outlet grill, fabric seat, auto AC, passenger airbags and an easy-to-read 7’’ suspended display screen. 
The smart interior boasts of steering mounted switches for cruise control, audio, and Bluetooth. There is ample boot space, seven-inch screen with rear view camera, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.
In terms of Safety, the vehicle is equipped with ABS+EBD, EBA, ESP, TCS, HHS, TPMS, driver and passenger airbags, engine immobiliser, front and rear parking sensor, rear-view mirror, auto lock with speed sensor, and centre lock.
The unique reindeer horn body structure is sourced from Swedish brand SAAB’s “Safe Cage” patented technology. BAIC had acquired SAAB and taken over its core assets, including the 9-5/9-3 vehicle platform, turbo engine transmission, R&D, manufacturing and supplier systems. The SAAB unique front wheel drive and steering technology was also inherited by BAIC. 
The integrity of the passenger compartment is ensured using collapsible IP beam support design to reduce engine penetration in the passenger compartment.
