S&P Global Ratings has affirmed Al Khaleej Takaful Insurance Company's BBB credit rating with a 'Stable' outlook, the company said in a statement Friday.
According to the statement on the Qatar Stock Exchange website, the affirmation is based on the company's better operating performance than the average performance of its domestic and regional peers and the limited impact on the company by the Covid-19 pandemic.
S&P Global indicated its expectations that Al Khaleej Takaful Insurance Company will continue to generate profitable earnings and maintain capital adequacy at (AAA).
Commenting on S&P's affirmation of the company's credit rating, chief executive officer Abdullah Ali al-Asiri assured on upgrading it in the future, by maintaining good operational performance and diversifying the company's investment portfolio in order to achieve good returns and profits for shareholders and policy holders.
Al Khaleej Takaful Insurance Company was established in 1979 to provide all kinds of insurance and reinsurance services and has been offering distinguished services to its clients for over 40 years.
