Since the beginning of the Vande Bharat Mission of the Indian government to repatriate stranded citizens, as many as 6,870 passengers, plus 193 infants, have left Qatar on 40 flights until Friday.
Three flights took off Friday from Doha's Hamad International Airport (HIA), carrying a total of 562 passengers and 11 infants, according to information tweeted by the Indian embassy in Qatar.

Thiruvananthapuram-bound passengers at HIA 

The day's first flight, 6E-9789 took off from HIA for Amritsar/Srinagar with 206 passengers and an infant. This was the 38th flight from Doha under #Vandebharat.
The next was IX-1822 for Mangalore with 179 passengers and six infants. This was the 39th flight from Doha under #Vandebharat. Friday's last flight, the 40th under #Vandebharat, IX- 1576 took off for Thiruvananthapuram with 177 passengers and four infants.
Ten more flights are scheduled from Doha until June 30, according to a tweet by the Indian embassy.
