Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) has informed that they will start welcoming visitors on the walking tracks of Aspire Park from Monday.
Visitors are required to adhere to the precautionary and preventive measures put in place, AZF tweeted Sunday.
Similarly, Katara - the Cultural Village Foundation said the North and South Katara Hills promenade will be reopened for walking purposes from Monday.
Katara, too, stressed the need for visitors to comply with "precautionary and preventive measures and to avoid any gatherings or mixing as it’s forbidden".
This comes as part of the State's comprehensive plan to gradually lift the restrictions imposed earlier to curb the spread of Covid-19 in the country.
The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) had on Saturday announced the procedures and conditions for entering the limited number of public gardens and parks that will be opened to the public today to exercise and practise sports and specific times.
In Phase 1, the MME will open eight parks from 4am until 9am and from 4pm until 10pm daily. These are Al Wakra Public Park, Al Khor Park, Al Qutaifiyah Park 66, Al Shamal City Park, Al Sailiya Park (Abu Nakhla), Al Dafna Park, Museum Park and Al Rayyan Park.
The MME has urged people wishing to enter such parks to abide by the preventive and precautionary measures put in place.
As announced recently, the four-phase lifting of restrictions in the country begins on June 15, followed by the second stage on July 1, the third on August 1 and the fourth and final on September 1.
