* Allocated four health centres to test and hold suspected Covid-19 cases
* Confirmed the possibility of swabbing for Covid-19 at all other primary health centres

The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has reiterated that it has allocated four health centres (HCs) to test and hold suspected Covid-19 cases to prevent the spread of the virus.

These four HCs are Rawdat Al Khail, Muaither and Gharrafat Al Rayyan, which operate 24/7, and Umm Slal, which works from 7am to 11pm, seven days a week.

PHCC also confirmed the possibility of swabbing for Covid-19 at all other primary health centres. "In case the result is positive, the patient will be referred to one of the four Test and Hold health centres mentioned previously for holding in order to transfer the case to one of the State's quarantine facilities," the corporation said in a notice on social media on Saturday.

The PHCC stressed that it is keen to ensure the health and safety of the entire population of Qatar, including both citizens and residents, by developing precautionary measures and providing testing and swabbing services to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
