Two more Indian repatriation flights took off from Hamad International Airport (HIA) yesterday.
AI 1930 left Doha for Lucknow, with 150 passengers, two infants and two mortal remains, the Indian embassy tweeted.
Then, IX 1774 took off from HIA for Kannur, with 177 passengers and nine infants.
These marked the 18th and 19th flights from Qatar under the Vande Bharat mission, respectively, “bringing the total number of repatriated passengers to 3,155, plus 87 infants”, the embassy said.

More repatriation flights have been planned from Qatar from June 9, the Indian embassy said on Wednesday.
These flights will be operated as part of “Phase 2++” of the Vande Bharat Mission, according to information available on the Indian ministry of external affairs website.
In total, 21 flights will be operated between Doha and 10 Indian cities from June 9-19, the list shows.
