The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) said that its health centres have served about 26,941 patients during Eid Al-Fitr holiday between May 19 to 30.
22,891 patients were received at the medicine clinic during the period and the general dental clinics received 1777 patients. 1,380 people came to the emergency units.
Specialized services and clinics such as Ophthalmology, ENT, Well Baby, chronic disease and Dermatology too treated patients during the period. 379 Qataris benefited from the services of the prenuptial examination clinic.
In addition to these, the recently established Community Call Center at the PHCC provided 1,613 virtual medical consultations remotely over the phone and video duing the Eid holiday.
