The Department of Meteorology Tuesday warned of strong wind at places in Qatar by noontime. The speed of the northwesterly to northeasterly winds will be in the range of 6 to 16 knot in the forenoon and can reach 20 knot by noon, the daily weather report said.
Weather inshore until 6pm will be misty at places at first, becoming hot during daytime with some clouds and slight dust at times, mild by night, said the report. Offshore, it will be fine, the report added. The winds offshore will be mainly northwesterly to northeasterly 05 to 15 knot.
Visibility will be 4 to 8/3km or less at places at times.
Sea state inshore will be 1 to 2 feet. Offshore, it will be 2 to 4 feet.
