The Indian embassy has said they are continuing "to make efforts to schedule flights to destinations such as Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, in the coming weeks".
"Please ensure that you put in your registration and get a confirmation in time, so that we will be able to get the fairest possible list of passengers," the embassy tweeted Saturday.
The above-mentioned Indian cities are yet to be covered in the repatriation mission carried out from Qatar. So far, flights have been operated to Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram in the first stage of the operation.
The destinations announced for the second stage are Kozhikode, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Kochi, Bengaluru and Gaya.
The embassy also informed that they plan to close registration for repatriation soon, as all passenger lists have to be cleared by the Qatari authorities well in time before each flight.
"Continuing registrations makes it difficult to finalise the list and get approvals in time. Please register soon, if you haven't done so already," the embassy added.
