HEC Paris, ranked #3 worldwide for Executive Education and #1 for the International Executive MBA by the Financial Times in 2019, will be conducting two online masterclass sessions on the post-coronavirus world in May.
The sessions will be delivered by Dr. Pablo Martin de Holan, dean of HEC Paris in Qatar, and Professor Serge Besanger, former acting director at International Monetary Fund (IMF).
The first masterclass, titled ‘After the pandemic: Some ideas to manage successfully in the post-virus world’, will be delivered on May 13 by Dr Martin de Holan. The session will analyse the possible consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic and the lessons that managers could derive from them.
In particular, the discussion will focus on the future business environment and what it may mean for organiations and also the consequences of these changes on the management process.
The second masterclass, titled ‘Strategic Foresight for a post-coronavirus world, with a focus on the Middle East!’, will take place on May 19, and delivered by Professor Besanger. The interactive session will analyse how strategic foresight can support decision making by better anticipating change, revealing options for experimentation with an innovative approach, and stress testing existing strategies.
HEC Paris in Qatar masterclass sessions are designed to strengthen leadership skills necessary for senior business managers to flourish in their roles. These interactive discussions will give participants an insight into innovation topics such as becoming more creative in a professional context; the levers to be a more innovative individual; or creating a context for their immediate team to be more innovative.
