Omans Ministry of Health has announced 154 new cases of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19), bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the Sultanate to 3,112.
In a statement today, the ministry confirmed that the total number of Covid-19 cases in the country now stands at 3,112, while the number of recoveries has risen to 1,025, in addition to 15 deaths from the virus.Of the 154 new cases announced today, 42 are among Omani citizens and 112 are among non-Omani residents, the ministry said.
The ministry also urged the public to strictly adhere to the precautionary measures and the instructions for social and physical spacing, and not to leave homes unless it is necessary.
