The Indian embassy in Doha on Wednesday said it has resumed collection of data about people requesting repatriation to India due to the "continuing demand for registration".
As reported by Gulf Times, the embassy had carried out a similar exercise earlier and about 40,000 people had registered for repatriation.
In an announcement on social media Wednesday, the embassy said: "The Government of India has taken a decision to commence limited special flights to India. Due to the continuing demand for registration, we have resumed collection of data."
Those seeking repatriation have to fill a form, which is available at this link.
"The form is to be filled for a single individual at a time," the embassy stressed.
The first repatriation flight, from Doha to Kochi, has been rescheduled from Thursday to May 9, Saturday. Another flight, for Thiruvanathapuram, is scheduled on May 10.
