The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) will install a new traffic signal between Al Luqta Street and Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor tomorrow (Saturday) for six months. The new signal, being installed in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, is to facilitate completion of the works on Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor. The new signal will provide a direct link between Al Luqta and Al Gharrafa without the need to use Tilted or Al Gharrafa (Passports) Interchanges, especially after the closure of the tunnel linking Al Luqta and Al Gharrafa and the removal of the temporary bridge on Al Luqta Street.
