His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani on Thursday exchanged greetings on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan in phone calls with a number of leaders of fraternal Arab and Islamic countries.
They include Kuwaiti Amir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, Sultan Haitham bin Tarik bin Taimur of the Sultanate of Oman, King Abdullah II of Jordan, King Mohamed VI of Morocco and President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo of Somalia.
The Amir also exchanged greetings with President Kais Saied of Tunisia, President Barham Salih of Iraq, President Mahmoud Abbas of Palestine, and Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah.
Meanwhile, the Amir has received a cable from HE the Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mahmoud on the occasion of the advent of Ramadan, conveying his greetings and greetings of members of the Shura Council.
The Amir responded with a reply cable of thanks.
