The total transactions through e-services, offered by various government e-channels including Hukoomi, MoI website and Metrash2, has crossed 2mn.
As per figures, released by the Ministry of Interior (MoI), the total number of transactions has so far reached 23,75218. The number of subscribers of Metrash2 crossed 1mn reaching the total number to 10,20745.
“The services of MoI, provided to the public through electronic systems, especially the Metrash2 mobile app have widely attracted the public,” a Tweet by MoI said.
The new services in the application include replacing vehicle plates, writing off vehicles, reporting criminal complaints, adding newborns to the national address, and the list for travel notifications for citizens.
Besides, MoI recently introduced a new feature with Metrash2 to help users file criminal complaints with the security departments. The new service reduces the time of communication and simplifies the procedures for the public in the light of the precautionary measures against Covid-19, an official Tweet said.
