The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has issued a circular instructing all pharmacies in the country to ban the sale and handling of Air Doctor product as it inaccurately claims to protect against airborne viruses and bacteria. The efficacy of the product has not been proven scientifically, the MoPH said. The product in question is also not licensed by any competent entity in Qatar, it added.
