Qatar Foundation's (QF) Equine Veterinary Medical Center (EVMC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Montreal, Canada, that will enhance equine veterinary learning experiences and develop the veterinary student externship programme at EVMC.

The aim of the agreement is to establish a partnership between EVMC and University of Montreal, which will see students from the university’s Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FMV) spend time at EVMC, taking part in clinical externships and research stays in the field of equine veterinary medicine.

In addition, the EVMC will welcome three University of Montreal students per year. The students will be enrolled in the final year of their undergraduate degree in veterinary medicine programme. They will have full access to EVMC’s state-of-the-art facilities, including the use of laboratory equipment.
