A new advisory posted by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on its social media platforms Wednesday highlights the precautionary measures that need to be followed while using home delivery services.
The advisory says people should prepare their meals at home at all times, and if they need to order through the home delivery service, they should make sure to do the following:

* Ask the delivery person to leave the order in front of the door
* Maintain a safe distance of 2m, at the minimum, between you and the delivery person
* Use single-use gloves to pick up the order and dispose of them immediately in a safe manner
* Pay for your order online using the application
* If the cash method is used, it is preferable to pay the exact amount so that you do not receive any change, and it is important to wash your hands afterwards
* Wipe and disinfect food packages before handling them
* Wash your hands with soap and water for 20-40 second after disposing of all packages, including boxes, bags and packaging materials, in a safe manner
* Wipe the surfaces that have been touched after the packaging has been disposed of
* Empty the meals in clean dishes assigned to each family member
