Nedina, Qatar's homegrown online marketplace with a wide range of products from electronics to fashion, has announced via an online press conference that it has established new partnerships with leading hypermarkets in Doha to meet the increasing demand in Qatar for online shopping.
From today, Nedina’s customers will be able to buy their groceries online after Nedina’s partnership with Family Food Centre (FFC), Retail Mart, Indian supermarket, and New Grand Mart.
Commenting on this initiative, an official spokesperson from Nedina said: “We are pleased to inform Nedina’s customers that we are putting measures in place to facilitate the contactless delivery of products to our customers.”
The spokesperson added: “All delivery personnel will follow the social distancing protocols to ensure the safety of themselves and of our customers. Further initiatives that we are implementing during these unprecedented times include providing IT support and free online training to businesses to smooth their transition to e-commerce and enable them to use our platform, and using Nedina’s partnership with global CRM providers to facilitate a smooth transition to 'working from home', so keeping disruption to our services to an absolute minimum.
“It is our responsibility to adhere to the social distancing rules that the government has set to encounter the coronavirus pandemic and to set an example by quickly adapting to the fast-changing situation and so do all we can to mitigate the risks posed by the pandemic. We are constantly aiming to expand our product offerings and to provide our customers with a smooth online experience when they buy essential goods such as groceries, electronics, and fashion brands. We are all striving to ensure a stronger and safer Qatar after this crisis.”
Nedina.com is offering all local businesses the opportunity to set up online shops on its website free of charge, as well as providing various payment options to ensure hassle-free online payments.
