Two new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, bringing total number of infections in Palestine to 117.
Palestinian governments spokesman Ibrahim Milhem said that one case was reported in Ramallah in a male in his 20s and was taken to the quarantine centre in the city.
The second is a male in his 50s who returned to the Gaza Strip last week through Rafah crossing and was placed in confinement since then. He is the 10th case in Gaza Strip while the rest are in the West Bank. A total of 18 have recovered and one died.The Israeli occupation forces arrested four Palestinians in Ramallah and Al-Bireh governate in the West Bank on Tuesday.
The Palestinian news agency reported that the occupation forces arrested two Palestinians after raiding their houses in Kobar town, north of Ramallah, QNA reported. The forces also arrested a Palestinian lawyer in the town of Badres, northwest of Ramallah, and seized his vehicle, while raiding a number of his family’s houses.
