FM holds phone talk with Dominic Raab
HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani yesterday received a phone call from UK Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Dominic Raab.
The call dealt with reviewing bilateral relations, and co-ordinating efforts to contain the coronavirus, in addition to discussing issues of joint interest. - QNA

Entries for arts award postponed
The Board of Trustees of the Recognition and Encouragement Award at the Ministry of Culture and Sports has announced a temporary closure of receiving entries for the sixth award in the arts and culture category. 
The deadline was April 10. The decision was taken in the light of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis, the Ministry said. “The board will receive entries after the present crisis is over,” said Board secretary Faleh Hussein al-Hajri.
