The Ministry of Public Health Tuesday announced that authorities arrested 10 people who violated the requirements of the home quarantine which they had pledged to follow, in accordance with the procedures of the health authorities.
The Ministry said in a statement that the arrest of these people came as part of the precautionary measures in force in the country, approved by health authorities represented in the Ministry of Public Health, to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
The Ministry of Public Health added that the violators who being referred to prosecution, are:
1- Ahmed Salem Ahmed Saleh Al Bakri
2- Ahmed Rweiki Ghorban Al Quqaqi Al Ruwaili
3- Abdullah Ali Rashid Ali Al Gherniq
4- Jaber Ayedh Salem Khijim Al Athba
5- Abdulaziz Ismail Youssef Nasser Al Nasser
6- Faisal Abdullah Mohammad Al Sheikh Al Kuwari
7- Ali Ahmed Munser Al Hamad
8- Abdulrahman Khalid Abdullah Al Ghanem Al Maadeed
9- Abdullah Ayedh Khijim Al Athba Al Marri
10- Faisal Rashid Hamad Alyan Al Marri
All Qatari citizens. 
The state authorities called on citizens and residents under home quarantine to fully oblige the Ministry's conditions, to ensure their safety and the safety of others.
The statement stressed that everyone who violates the condition is subject to the penalties stated in article no. 253 of criminal law no. 11 of 2014, law no. 17 of 1990 on protection from infectious diseases, and law no. 17 of 2002 on protecting society.
