Qatar Chamber (QC) has issued a statement on the entry and exit of trucks to and from the Industrial Area.
Addressing the country's business community, the statement was posted on the QC website as well as its Twitter page.
"Please note that according to the new procedures of the parties concerned for entry and exit of trucks, you are kindly requested to contact the Industrial Area Operation Room at 2345132/2345133," QC advised businesses.
"We call you to urge your staff to abide by safety, security and health stipulations as well as enter and exit only to deliver and release materials necessary for supply chains," it stressed.
"We are pleased to extend our deep thanks to you for your sincere efforts to implement the precautionary measures adopted by the country in the Industrial Area with the intent to protect its staff and residents from the spread of the coronavirus," QC said. "We also appreciate your national sense and interest to transport food for labourers inside the area."
