The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) has decided to close, until further notice, all public parks and beaches in the country.
This comes within the framework of the preventive and precautionary measures taken by the State to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) in the country and prevent gatherings, the MME said on Twitter.
The move is aimed at ensuring the safety of people who visit such places, the MME stressed, wishing "health and safety for all”.
The MME has also decided to end the winter camping season, with effect from today, in order to ensure the safety of citizens and residents. The process of removing camps has to be completed before March 25, it added.
