The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced the full closure of the traffic signal connecting the Wholesale Market Street and Doha Expressway permanently from today evening.
During the traffic change, being implemented in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, traffic flow from the Wholesale Market Street towards Doha Expressway and Mesaimeer Interchange will be closed while traffic between Doha Expressway will remain open in both directions.
As shown on the map, road users heading towards Doha Expressway and Mesaimeer Interchange through Wholesale Market Street can use Bu Hamour Interchange on Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor and then take left to the Industrial Area Road and Mesaimeer Interchange to reach their destinations.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the closure and requested all to abide by the speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure safety.
