Qatar Fuel (Woqod) has said it will provide free WOQODe tags to all individual customers in order to avoid the use of cash or cards between customers and fuel attendants.
This was announced by the company through a notice on social media.
The move comes as Woqod is “keen on the safety and health of everyone in Qatar, and as per the directions and guidance of the Ministry of Public Health”, the company has stressed. Customers can avail of the free tags until June 17.
A valid copy of the Qatar ID and Istimara (vehicle registration) are required to get the tags.
