The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a five-hour closure for traffic on Gharrafat Al Rayyan Street from and to Gharrafat Al Rayyan Interchange on March 20, from 4am to 9am.
The closure in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic , is to enable the gantries installation as part of the Khalifa Avenue Project.
Road users heading towards or coming from Gharrafat Al Rayyan through Gharrafat Al Rayyan Interchange will have to use Bani Hajer Interchange, Al Shahama Street and local roads to reach their destinations as shown on the map.
Ashghal said it will install road signs advising motorists of the closure and has urged them to abide by the existing speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure safety.
