Msheireb Properties, the leading sustainable real estate developer, has announced that all retailers and F&B tenants at Msheireb Downtown Doha are exempted from rent and utility bills until further notice.
The exemption came into effect on Sunday.
The decision comes as part of Msheireb Properties’ "community support at a time where Qatar is fighting the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19) within its borders. The intent of the initiative is to lighten the financial strain on investors and businesses as the State of Qatar implements measures designed to promote social distancing and limit large gatherings", the company said in a statement.
Within its national mandate, Msheireb Properties will deploy its full capabilities to support Qatar’s effort to deal with the current situation and fight against this disease.
