Al Shamal Municipality, represented by the Department of Health Control, has intensified inspection campaigns on slaughterhouses and markets under its jurisdiction, according to a statement by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment.
As part of strengthening measures, inspection drives were initiated at Al Shamal slaughterhouse, fish market at Ruwais port, Ruwais market and poultry shops. The checks are held in line with Al Shamal Municipality's efforts to maintain public hygiene and cleanliness, disinfection and sterilisation of places that are regularly visited by the public.
