Singapore- and Qatar-based Xplus Inc has launched the Doha Inspire Awards 2020 to honour women living in Qatar for outstanding achievements in their chosen vocation.
Xplus introduced Inspire Awards 2020 in Qatar on International Women’s Day, specially marked by the United Nations to celebrate and honour women’s contributions to the global community in various fields.
“More than competition, Xplus Inspire Awards 2020 is a celebration to honour the excellence of womanhood,” said Xplus Inspire Awards project head Anu Sharma. 
“At Xplus Inspire, we believe in equality simply because only an equal world can be an empowered world. And that’s why we have named the women of today as Sheros. Our Sheros could come from diverse fields such as technology, arts, culture, health, media, sports and many more. Any woman living in Qatar with an outstanding achievement could be a role model in her chosen field qualifies for the nomination. These awards are an opportunity for Xplus to provide a platform to honour female talent in Qatar.”
The awards will have distinct categories like: Inspire Her – Abilities award, Lifetime Achievement, Young Achievers, Community Spirit, Health, Education and Media awards along with many other categories. 
The jury comprising Abdullah al-Hammadi (chairman of Technical & Judges Committee of Asian Shooting Confederation), Anu Sharma (media personality and project head, Inspire Awards), Dr R Seetharaman (Group CEO, Doha Bank), Lisa Saad (executive director, American Chamber of Commerce — Qatar), Nishad Kader (director, Xplus Inc), Omar Shaath (social influencer), Susanna Toi (vice president, Singapore Business Council — Qatar) and Yousif al-Jaber (chairman, International Business Delegation) will select the awardees from the nominees listed in each category.  All Qatar citizens and residents qualify for these awards. 
April 10 is the last date to suggest nominees online by way of a 30 second video message or sharing a picture at [email protected]
Selected entries would be appreciated at the Xplus Inspire awards.
