His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani held on Wednesday evening a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump, during which they reviewed the strategic relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them in various fields.
They discussed the developments of the situation in Afghanistan following the signing of the peace agreement between the US and the Afghan Taliban, which was mediated by Qatar.
The call also touched on several regional and international issues of common concern.
