Amir holds phone talk with UN chief
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani held a telephone conversation with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Monday.
During the phone call which the Amir received from the UN Secretary-General, Guterres congratulated the Amir on the success of Qatar's mediation between the US and the Afghan Taliban movement, which culminated in signing the peace agreement between the two sides.
The UN Secretary-General expressed his great appreciation for Qatar's role in reaching this important agreement that will contribute to spreading security and stability in Afghanistan, praising Qatar's persistent and unremitting efforts to resolve disputes by peaceful means, and its keenness on maintaining security and peace at the regional and international levels.

Amir, Cote d'Ivoire president review ties
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani held a telephone conversation with Cote d'Ivoire President Alassane Ouattara on Monday evening.
During the phone call which the Amir received from the President Ouattara, the two sides reviewed the bilateral relations and means of promoting and developing them, as well as issues of mutual concern.
