The meeting was chaired by Dr Thani bin Abdulrahman al-Kuwari, President of the Qatar Athletics Federation, and was attended by Mohamed Issa al-Fadhala, General Secretary, Talal Mansour, Assistant Secretary, along with rest of the members of the General Assembly, and Issa al-Ghanim, representative of the Qatar Olympic Committee.
The meeting also witnessed the presence of the HE Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad bin Nasser al-Thani, Chairman of Qatar Club, along with the rest of the representatives of the clubs and a group of representatives from media.
General Secretary al-Fadhala presented the agenda of the meeting and a general review of Qatar’ achievements at both local and international levels were discussed through a video presentation.
The attendees also unanimously approved the time schedule of the local championships prepared for the 2020 sport season. The committee also unanimously decided to withdraw the membership of Abdul Rahman Kitami for his absence since 2017.
