Another mega event will be held in the country soon as Q-Tickets presents ‘Qatar’s biggest Beach Holi Feast-ival’ on March 13, it has been announced.
“With a euphoric fusion of fun, food, music and colour, the grand beach party” will take place at Sealine Beach, A Murwab Resort. “Everyone is invited to join as the event is open to the public, for all ages,” the organisers said in a statement.
Just recently, Qatar witnessed back-to-back major concerts, including the comeback of Sonu Nigam and Junoon. Before that, the full-house ‘Mughal-E-Azam: The Grand Musical’ show regaled audiences in Qatar.
“Q-Tickets, the leader of events and entertainment in Qatar, has been behind the success of these massive shows,” the statement notes.
Headed by its founder, Dr Tejinder Singh, Q-Tickets stressed that it has been at the “forefront of producing world-class events in Qatar”. This time, the company brings a “beach colour fest like no other”.
Like the rest of the world, Dr Singh takes the initiative of having a Holi (known as the Festival of Colours) event in Qatar in a “bigger and better celebration”.
“We would like to celebrate the most joyful event of the year by presenting Qatar’s biggest beach colour festival, a one-of-its kind event to happen in the country. We would like to bring excitement to the fun-loving people in Qatar from different walks of life,” said Dr Singh.
Sale of tickets for this event is already in “full swing and there is a flood of ticket bookings from locals and expatriates alike”, the company said, adding that people of different nationalities are “expressing enthusiasm in this event - transcending racial and cultural frontiers”.
“Promising good vibes, great music, sumptuous food and, above all, a fun-filled festivity, Beach Holi Feast-ival is a perfect one-stop Holi destination for families, singles and groups,” the statement said.
There will be food offerings, dhol performances, games, live DJ music, face-painting, a kids’ play area, colourful ambiance and more in an open-air beach setting and under the sunny skies.
Tickets can be booked at q-tickets.com.
Colours, food, and beverages will be available at the venue at “reasonable prices”, according to the organisers. Outside food, colour powder and beverages are not allowed. Early-bird prices (for as low as QR30 per person for every group of three) are available for a limited period.
