The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced the shifting of southbound traffic on a 2km stretch of Mesaieed Road between Umm Al Houl Interchange and Hamad Port Interchange onto the parallel service road from 9pm today until 7am tomorrow.
The change, which will be implemented in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, has been announced to enable gantry installation.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the closure, and also requests all road users to abide by the speed limit and follow road signs to ensure their safety.
