Baladna Food Industries has participated in the ‘Made in Qatar’ exhibition organised by Qatar Chamber, in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Qatar Development Bank, and the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
Prominent government and private Qatari organisations and companies participated in the exhibition held from February 19 to 22 at the Kuwait Exhibition Centre in Kuwait City.
Baladna’s stand received many exhibitors and visitors, who expressed their delight with the products the company exhibited, including milk, cheese, laban, labneh, and juices.
High profile executives from government and private companies visited Baladna’s stand, among them HE the Minister of Commerce & Industry Ali bin Ahmed al-Kuwari and his Kuwaiti counterpart, Khalid bin Nasser al-Rodan, as well as Qatar Chamber chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim al-Thani, along with the accompanying delegation .
Guests at Baladna stand praised the enormous efforts the company has done in a record period on the world food industry scene. Baladna was among the Qatari companies honoured at the exhibition being the Diamond Sponsor. On this occasion, Baladna CEO Malcom Jordan expressed his “extreme pleasure for Baladna to be chosen to be the Diamond Sponsor of this magnificent event.”
Jordan assured that Baladna’s main objective, after the immense success it achieved in the Qatari market, is to continue its efforts to develop and expand in compliance to the government’s strategy in supporting and developing industrial and agricultural products to further increase their presence in the regional and international markets – a step that will support the growth of Qatar’s economy.
He also extended his gratitude to the organisers of the event and to Kuwaiti officials. Similarly, he expressed joy to meet with Kuwaiti businessmen and executives who showed real interest in bringing in Baladna’s products to the Kuwaiti market. Being the Diamond Sponsor of the exhibition, Baladna was among several Qatari companies honoured by the organisers for their role in the event. The companies that were honoured included Qatar Petroleum, Sponsor of Energy Sector; QNB, the Official Bank; QIMC, Diamond Sponsor; Milaha as Golden Sponsor; and Ooredoo, the Communication Sponsor.
