Ambassador al-Emadi pointed out that the difficult humanitarian conditions in Gaza require from all to stand up to their moral and humanitarian responsibilities to improve the living conditions of the residents of the Strip, which has been under siege for years.
During the meeting, he said, it was agreed that the Qatari committee will increase the number of families benefiting from cash assistance for February 2020, to 120,000 by giving $100 to each family.

Ambassador al-Emadi stressed that the announced projects package will be implemented in co-ordination with the relevant ministries in Gaza, noting that this aid aims to improve the humanitarian conditions and achieve a decent life for the residents of the Strip, appealing to all relief institutions and international community organisations to increase the humanitarian assistance provided to the residents of the Strip as conditions portend a real catastrophe.
