HE the Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mahmoud met Rosemary DiCarlo, Undersecretary-General of the UN for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, on the sidelines of the two-day parliamentary hearing in New York.
During the meeting, they reviewed ways to enhance co-operation between Qatar and the UN, and dealt with the important issues related to the parliamentary field.
A number of members of the Shura Council and the Permanent Representative of Qatar to the UN ambassador HE Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif al-Thani attended the meeting.
