The College of Islamic Studies (CIS) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) recently concluded outreach activities to attract new students to its degree programmes.
In keeping with the wider HBKU network, the CIS sessions provided key information and study options for prospective students from Qatar, the Middle East and further afield.
Prospective students were introduced to CIS’ six pioneering master’s and PhD programmes, and the opportunities they bring to students enrolled in them. The information session included presentations which highlighted the unique aspects of each programme, including but not limited to international student trips to study regional architecture or engage with international institutions, opportunities for students to participate in international conferences, and joint projects and collaborative initiatives.
CIS plans to have its next information session on February 26. Applications to its programmes remain open until March 15.
