Families, children join NSD celebrations at Hyatt Plaza

Hyatt Plaza Mall, in partnership with Doha Youth Centre, organised a wide range of sporting activities and competitions as part of the 2020 Qatar National Sport Day celebrations.
The events held over five days were dedicated to emphasising the importance of healthy living, the mall said in a statement.
Every year, Hyatt Plaza Mall holds its celebrations with five days of sports activities to mark the occasion and highlight the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle.
This year, from February 11 until yesterday, various events were held to ensure that all families and children got the chance to experience sporting activities and take part in different games and challenges, the statement noted.
Many of the Hyatt Plaza Mall retailers participated in the event this year, such as Mothercare, Crono, Kiddy Zone, Al Meera Hypermarket and Jungle Zone, one of the city’s most popular children’s indoor theme parks.
The events offered a blend of sports and family fun atmosphere that brought community members of all ages together to create a great experience, the statement added.
Moreover, to offer an enhanced entertaining experience to the mall visitors, Hyatt Plaza also organised different kinds of sports challenges such as Diaper Derby, The Don 7 Challenge, Ski Ball Challenge and Hole in The Goal Challenge among others.
“To achieve Qatar’s National Vision and human focus towards building a healthy lifestyle, Hyatt Plaza’s efforts are aimed at promoting physical activity through exercises and making the right behavioural choices,” the mall stressed.
