Aamal Company (Aamal) has announced that its investor relations (IR) website was ranked third, according to the results of the 2019 Annual Investor Relations Excellence Programme held recently in Doha.
This is the fifth year of the Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) Annual Investor Relations Excellence Programme, which has become a highly-regarded symbol of excellence to recognise those QSE-listed companies with the best quality and most influential IR websites, while also encouraging IR alignment with international best practice. Sheikh Mohamed bin Faisal al-Thani, vice chairman and managing director of Aamal, said: “This is yet another proud moment in Aamal’s continuous development as we keep up with the latest trends and maintain the highest standards of international best practice investor relations.
“I would like to express my gratitude to the Qatar Stock Exchange for its continuous support through its Investor Relations Excellence Programme, an initiative we highly value and support. We are delighted to receive this recognition, which is testimony to our commitment to build a relationship based on trust with all our stakeholders. We look forward to refining our IR practice still further as Aamal continues to grow and develop.”
Imran Chughtai, chief financial officer of Aamal, said: “It is with pride and gratitude that we receive this award of excellence. At Aamal, we believe very strongly in the importance of investor relations and in having a best practice IR website. Our website is a primary point of contact with the investment community and it’s important that through it we clearly demonstrate the strength of our business model, financial performance and commitment to the highest levels of governance. “We are committed to constantly developing and refining our IR website through different tools and exercises, always adhering to QSE’s disclosure standards and IR best practice.
This recognition reflects the success of our approach as we continue to find innovative solutions to further enhance Aamal’s investor relations.”
