Echoing the youth’s aspiration and keenness to help the country attain development goals, the third edition of Qatar Youth Forum came to an end at Ali bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena on Wednesday. 
Organised by the Qatar Cultural And Heritage Events Centre under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, the two-day forum witnessed dialogues, empowerment initiatives, interactions, training sessions, signing of memorandums of understanding (MoU) and launching of applications. 
Featuring 33 pavilions, the forum was participated by 22 youth centres and five cultural centres in addition to educational institutions, government agencies and clubs. There were also 20 workshops attended by around 500 youths from across the country.  
An array of activities ranging from discussions to skill development training provided the participants with the appropriate environment to present their ideas, share their concerns, find solutions and hone their leadership skills. Besides, they also opened up new spaces for the aspirant youth by helping them explore various fields. Innovative ideas and initiatives were presented in bid to motivate young people, draw them towards nation building and contribute their part to help the country attain the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030. 
In a session on the first day, projects by the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) were reviewed. A MoU was signed between the Ministry of Culture and Sports and Social Development Centre (Nama) as part of the efforts to encourage youth and help them develop their capabilities in performing their duties to the nation while another MoU was signed between the Youth Centres and the Qatar Scientific Club.
Seven members of the Youth Advisory Committee were announced during the forum. The future plans of the committee were also presented while the functionaries discussed various issues and challenges, being faced by the youth and they put forward the solutions.
The Al Majd Centre for Girls, a collective of more than 20 youth centres, functioning under the Ministry of Culture and Sports, was also formed during the forum. Two applications were launched in order to help the youth chalk out plans. 
The valedictory function saw the announcement of the winners of various competitions, hosted by the forum.
