The 105th session of the Economic and Social Council at the level of senior officials began Wednesday at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League, headed by the State of Qatar.
The agenda of the meeting includes several important items, particularly preparing the economic file of the Council of the Arab League for the Arab Summit scheduled for the end of March, the follow-up to the implementation of the decisions of the fourth Arab-African Summit (Malabo - Equatorial Guinea 2016), and preparing the economic aspects for the fifth summit, in addition to the Greater Arab Free Trade Area (GAFTA) and the developments of the Arab customs union, along with other economic and social items.
The Arab Economic and Social Council will also consider the recommendations adopted by the Economic and Social Committees of the Council during their meeting on Sunday and Monday.
