Qatar Fuel (Woqod) on Monday opened the Al Mearad-2 Petrol Station as part of its ongoing expansion plans to serve every area in Qatar, raising its network of petrol stations to 104.
Woqod managing director and CEO Saad Rashid al-Muhannadi said, “We are pleased to open a new petrol station at Al Mearad-2.
Woqod aspires to expand its petrol station network in the country to meet the rising demand for petroleum products and achieve the goal of providing customers with access to best-in-class products and services at their convenience and comfort.
"Woqod has recently accelerated the process of construction of new petrol stations to meet the fuel needs of the country. Members of the Woqod team would like to extend their gratitude to all governmental and private entities involved in the completion of this project.”
The new Al Mearad-2 petrol station is spread over an area of 14,850sqm and has three lanes with nine dispensers for light vehicles, which "will serve the Al Mearad-2 area and its neighbourhood", Woqod has said in a statement.
The station offers round-the-clock services to residents and includes a Sidra convenience store, manual car wash, oil change and tyre repair, in addition to the sale of gasoline and diesel products for light vehicles.
