Oman and Kuwait set up the final showdown in the QCA Women’s T20I Tournament, to be held at the Asian Town Stadium in Industrial Area Tuesday at 3pm. 
Oman ended the double round-robin league with three wins and one loss, while Kuwait recorded two wins and two losses and edged hosts Qatar (one win and three losses) before advancing to the final. On the third and last day of the league, Kuwait outplayed Qatar by seven wickets, chasing a modest 80-run target with three overs to spare. Captain Aysha continued to be consistent and productive for Qatar as she made 26 in 46 balls with two boundaries. Khadija Ahmad contributed 22 not out in 48 balls. 
Maria Jasvi, who was later adjudged the Player of the Match, Madeena Zuberi and Mariamma Hyder shared three wickets, while three players got run out. 
Kuwait clinched the match as Priyada Murali hit two fours in 20 and Amna Shareef got an unbeaten 15 with a four. Rochelle, Shahreennawab and Akshata Arjun picked a wicket each. 
 In another match, Anshita Lalit and Bhakti Shetty grabbed five wickets between them to derail Kuwait’s 109-run chase against Oman. Priyada Murali and Zeefa Jilani collected 52 runs for the opening wicket before Priyanka Edna broke the stand the 10th over. 
Murali got out after her attractive 31 off as many balls with four stylish boundaries. Thirty runs later, Shetty removed Jilani for 22 in 39 balls to trigger the collapse. Within 23 more runs, the remaining players were dismissed, leading Oman to a thrilling three-run triumph. 
While Shetty had two for 25, Lalit had a delightful three for eight figures. After Amna Shareef made 23 in 20 balls with four boundaries, no other player stay long enough to resist the Omani attack. 
Priyanka Edna and Vaishali Jasrani played superbly to lift Oman to 108 for five. Edna smashed four hits to the rope, while Jasrani cracked two fours. Madeena Zuberi bagged two wickets for 16, while Maria Jasvi and Shareef had one each.
