Visitors and residents still have two chances to win by shopping or dining at any of the festival’s 12 mall partners.
For every QR200 spent at any participating retailer or restaurant, shoppers can enter a weekly raffle draw for a chance to win cars and cash prizes with a combined worth of more than QR2mn, Qatar National Tourism Council has said in a statement.
Next week’s Shop Qatar raffle draw will be held at 8pm on January 24, at Doha Festival City.
Meanwhile, as the exclusive media partner of Shop Qatar 2020, Qatar TV has tailored programming for the festival, with special programmes for children, a quiz competition for adults, as well live coverage of events.
An exclusive ‘Elegant shopping tour’ segment in the popular ‘Jawla’ programme will cover different themes of the festival as well as offer tips and advice on shopping, fashion and makeup.
“Enter the raffle draws in four easy steps: keep your receipts after you shop at stores in the participating malls; go to the Shop Qatar info kiosk in the mall and show your receipts; for every QR200 spent, receive one voucher; and drop your voucher(s) in the Shop Qatar raffle box,” the statement explains.
Running until January 31, Shop Qatar 2020 includes fashion shows by regional and local designers as well as makeup masterclasses with leading beauty experts and influencers.
In addition, there is in-mall entertainment for the whole family, concerts and special Chinese New Year celebrations as part of the festival’s schedule.
